BARRY KYLE ~ OWNER/MASTER INSTRUCTOR TAP~JAZZ~HIPHOP~LYRICAL
Barry Kyle is originally from Martinsville Va. where he specializes in the fields of tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. His 46 years of dancing has taken him all over the world
choreographing routines for groups in the United States, Canada, Italy, Mexico, Russia and Germany. He has judged and taught master classes for almost every major
dance competition in America and abroad. Barry has been seen performing on HBO, Showtime, and Showtime at the Apollo in New York City, and also for promotional
video's in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, working with such stars as Diana Ross, the late Marvin Gaye, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Julian Lennon
just to name a few, but his career just doesn't stop with performing. Barry has choreographed award winning routines for numerous national talent competitions, ballet
companies, and music videos. He was also a choreographer for the National Football League's St. Louis Rams cheerleaders. Barry was chosen to star as a cartoon
character named Sycopate in a television show, he also played the role of legendary tapper Bill Bo jangles Robinson in a 3-D animated movie. Barry was featured on
MTV's America's Best Dance Crew, Season 1, during the 25th Anniversary of Michael Jackson's Thriller Album episode. In July of 2009 Barry choreographed and
performed in concert with Lucho Silva and the Kumbia Kings at the Columbian Music Fest in Houston, TX. He also choreographed a piece and performed with his
performance company BPAC in Dallas, TX at the Move To Groove Ball, an offshoot of the Carnival held in Los Angeles, CA. Barry is currently the 3rd Vice Director for
the AAU/Urban Dance League Board of Directors for the South Texas District. Barry also choreographed the opening number for Creation Dance Championships
National Finals in 2007 & 2008 in Anaheim, CA, and taught master classes and co-choregraphed the 2010 opening number for Creation in Las Vegas, and the 2011
opening number in Sandusky, Ohio.
ANGELA PINEDA ~ OWNER/MASTER INSTRUCTOR BALLET~TAP~JAZZ~CONTEMPORARY/LYRICAL~DRILL TEAM PREP~THEATER ARTS
Angela Wright Pineda, a native Houstonian, has been a dance educator/choreographer for 34 years. Her award winning choreography, and unique teaching techniques
have placed her as one of the top tap & ballet instructors in the nation. Many of her students are currently with major dance & touring companies throughout the world.
Angela’s professional credits include Resident Choreographer for 15 years with Starmakers of the Northwest. She was a cast member with the touring Broadway
companies of Brigadoon & My Fair Lady, She was also a performer and choreographer in SMNW’s productions of Gypsy, West Side Story, Grease, & Bye Bye Birdie.
She played the lead role in “The Bad Seed”, “The Glass Menagerie”, & "Our Town" while at Lon Morris College. While a student at Lon Morris she was offered the
position of their Dance/Drill Team Director. She was the Artistic Director/Choreographer for the National Championship Dance Team “The Rhythmasters” for 13 Years in
Houston, TX. Angela's own daughters were members of the 2002 & 2003 State & National Champion Marching Auxillaries 5A Dance/Drill Team: The Jersey Village Gold
Dusters which gave her the opportunity to work with Drill Team Hall Of Fame Director Ms. Betty Buchner. Angela's oldest daughter, Brittney, was an officer and the
Captain of the elite dance squad at Jersey Village known as Star Dust. Angela trained with such greats as Henry LeTang (choreographer for the movie “TAP”), Gregory
Hines, Buster Cooper, Ann Reinking, Utah Ground, Buddy & Betty Gorganus, Shirley Gao Lee (former prima ballerina of the People's Republic of China), Fredrick
Strobel of Houston Ballet Academy, Dina Vail, Patsy Swayze & Patrick Swayze, Chesley Krohn, and many more. She is certified with honors through Dance Educators of
America. She is currently a judge for many dance competition companies, and teaches master classes and performance/competition choreography all over the nation.
She just returned from judging the Creation National Championships in Las Vegas, where she assisted Barry in his master class and choreography sessions. Angela
had the opportunity to teach dance to the Duff sisters, Hilary and Haylie in their childhood years while living in Texas, as well as Renee' Olsted of the sitcom "Still
Standing" and the new "Secret Lives of an American Teenager", Sarah Hagan of the "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" TV series, and her sister Katie Hagan who was in "Deep
Impact".
